Ready to Work Training – Reid State Technical College

Reid State's Ready to Work Training program is a free program for unemployed or underemployed workers who need general skills training. Some topics covered in this program include computer skills, manufacturing, leadership skills, and problem solving. For more information, visit www.rstc.edu.

Workforce Development Center – Reid State Technical College
Reid State's Workforce Development Center in Evergreen offers dual credit programs to the city's high school students, allowing them to earn college credit toward technical certificate and degree programs while still in high school.

AIDT

AIDT – Alabama Industrial Development Training – is a statewide training program that provides free workforce training to area industries. Additionally, AIDT offers workforce recruitment services. For more information about AIDT, visit www.aidt.edu.

There are two AIDT training centers located near Evergreen in Montgomery and Mobile, AL. Additionally the Right to Work program at Reid State Technical College is an AIDT program and some programs can be conducted at your company location.

Alabama Technology Network (ATN)

Technical associate degree and certification programs, as well as academic degree programs, are available from Jefferson Davis Community College. The college is located in Brewton, AL, which is approximately 30 minutes from the town.
